OUR BACKGROUND
Velvet House Of Hair is a luxury salon which was based in Blackrod a village just outside Bolton.
Velvet has been servicing clients in the area for over 25 yrs. Rachel the owner of the business has over 35 yrs experience in hairdressing from managing a salon for a chain in Wigan and training students, then retrained in London Knightsbridge with Toni & Guy, working in Toni & Guy Liverpool and Bolton.
Rachel then opened her own salon inside a 5* hotel for a number of years and then decided to re - brand and move premises to Velvet House Of Hair. Rachel then went on to gain her Certificate Of Education CERT ED and Assessor qualification to be able to teach in a local college.
Rachel also is a Wella Master Colour, Specialist Expert a title awarded to Colour Technicians by Wella Professionals after 3 yrs of intensive training sessions at the Wella Studio Manchester.
All Velvet Dolls are fully qualified hair stylist's, NVQ Level 3.
Our aim is to provide a high quality professional service using luxury hair products in a friendly relaxed environment so that you will leave feeling refreshed and look fabulous.
After 10 fab years Velvet has decided to downsize and relocate .
